DEMILITARIZE THE POLICE
The 1033 Program should be ended. This allows the Department of Defense to give state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies military weapons.
BAN THE CHOKEHOLD
Having the option to choke someone, in which cutting off one's airflow should be banned. This has fatal results that can often be avoidable.
END BROKEN WINDOW POLICING
This is a theory, in which officers enforce small crimes vigorously in hopes of keeping people from breaking bigger laws. However, treating petty crimes in such an egregious manner often leads to death.
Ban shooting at moving vehicles
While shooting at moving vehicles is only allowed in certain situations, it still leads to an avoidable death. This should be banned in all cases.
